League 1 Weekend Preview

Leyton Orient v Bradford

The third match is between third placed Leyton Orient and mid-table Bradford.

Leyton Orient will be looking to put right a run of 3 games without a win, which included a 1-0 home defeat to promotion rivals Brentford. The O’s record breaking start to the season surprised everyone, including Orient fans themselves, and most people believed they would fall away come the middle of the season, much like Tranmere last season. However with only 7 games remaining Leyton Orient are still up there, only 3 points off Brentford in second albeit having played 2 games more. One of the main reason the O’s are up near the top is because of the prolific strike partnership David Mooney and Kevin Lisbie have formed, scoring 31 goals in all competitions between them. Orient fans will be hoping that they can fire the O’s back into winning David Mooneyways on Saturday.

Bradford had an amazing season last season and had an outside chance of the play-offs this. However, the sale of Nahki Wells in January has really put an end to the bantams hopes as they have only won 3 games since the turn of the year. They now find themselves 15th and worryingly only 6 points of the drop zone. Facing 4 of the top 8 in their last 8 games, the Bradford fans will be hoping they will find form soon.

On Saturday I believe it will be a routine win for Leyton Orient, however Bradford could have a chance if they score first.
