FANS OF THE WEEKEND: Sheffield United
An excellent turnout from the Sheffield United faithful for their trip to Crewe as 1,700 turned up for their sides 1-0 success. A Stefan Scougall goal sealed all three points for the Blades in a game they could and probably should have won by more against a resurgent Crewe side that had won their previous three.
Nigel Clough’s men are surging back up the table and are beginning to set their sights on the automatic promotion places, they are just two points off second sitting in fifth but will certainly be in the mix this season. If they can keep getting good crowds both home and away, it may help push them to greater heights still.
