GAME OF THE WEEKEND: Reading 3-3 Wolverhampton Wanderers
This was a great game that burst into life in two different spurts in the second half. Three goals in four minutes saw Reading’s 1-0 lead fizzle out as Wolves went ahead 2-1 before Jake Taylor pegged them back to two each. Then with six minutes to go it looked like Nick Blackman’s own goal gave Wolves the three points before a glorious Glenn Murray strike gave each team a deserved share of the points.
It was a sensational match where both teams should be credited for their attacking intent, some of the goals were really great moves and neither were willing to lie down to let the other dominate. Wolves showed grit to get themselves back into the game before going ahead and Reading showed real heart to make sure they came out with at least a point, terrific stuff from both.
