Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to leave Cardiff

It has been reported in the last few minutes that Cardiff City boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to leave the club tonight.

Sky Sports are reporting that the Cardiff boss will leave the club tonight after only being appointed last season. They tweeted:

Cardiff sit 17th in the Championship table after winning only 2 of their opening 7 games. They were relegated from the Premier League last season after finishing bottom of the league, winning only 7 games from a possible 38.

Solskjaer was brought in as a replacement for Malky Mackay, the Bluebird’s former boss, who left the club in December of 2013 after an alleged row with the club’s owner, Vincent Tan.

During his time managing Cardiff, Solskjaer has picked up only 20 points for the Bluebirds. This low points tally could see him get the axe from the Welsh club, despite being there less than a year.
