Craig injury could be severe

Steven Graig suffered a neck injury that could prove to be severe, during his side’s 0-0 draw with Bury.

Just after the hour mark, the Wycombe striker was brought off in an neck brace and was unconscious at the time, after falling awkwardly.

The Scot was on the ground for ten minutes and was replaced by Matt McClure, but he couldn’t have any impact as the two sides saw out a stalemate result.

There were many chances from both sides including a goal mouth scramble towards the end, but neither side could find the breakthrough and they both had to settle for a point at the final whistle.

The attention immediately turned to Craig following the game but thankfully was revealed to be conscious and talking, though the extent of the damage is not yet confirmed.

Meanwhile the goal-less draw leaves Wycombe and Bury in fifth and sixth place respectively.
