Midfielder Tom Cairney’s brilliant half volley early on vs Norwich gave the visitors Blackburn the lead, but after this the Canaries rallied and eventually overcame the Lancashire side 3-1. This however should not take the gloss of a fantastic goal by the Nottingham born Scottish youth international who added this to his tally this season, having scored in the first game on 2014-15, vs Cardiff, with another good effort from distance although the Cardiff keeper may have done better.
