Wigan Athletic sign Andy Delort

Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of 22-year-old striker Andy Delort, according to the BBC.

Delort has attracted interest from numerous Championship clubs including Charlton, Leeds and Wolverhampton Wanderers but the Frenchman has agreed to join Uwe Rosler’s side. He was presented to the DW Stadium on Saturday but his club Tours announced that a deal hadn’t been completed for Ligue 2’s top scorer having had late offers from Wolves and RC Lens.

This might not be the last piece of business Dave Whelan does today as the club are still looking to bring in Brentford midfielder Adam Forshaw before the deadline.
