Sheffield Wednesday v Nottingham Forest
Two of the early form sides meet on Saturday as Stuart Pearce’s side travel to Hillsborough live on Sky Sports.
The Owls have started the season where they left off last campaign. Their struggles at the start of last season have been well reported, however after a solid start taking eight points from the league and unbeaten in their six games in all competitions. In midweek Stuart Gray’s men won at Burnley in the 2nd round of the League Cup and they were handed the prize of a trip to Premier League and League Cup holders Manchester City. Wednesday are likely to be without Sam Hutchinson who was a key player in the first couple of games of the season.
Nottingham Forest have also made a fine start to the season and after four games are currently top of the table. They progressed in the League Cup with a win over Huddersfield to set up a trip to Premier League side Tottenham. Forest have been dominant in the early days of this season coming from behind to win at Bournemouth and smashing Reading 4-0 at the City Ground last weekend. Promotion is not decided in the opening month of the season, but a good start builds confidence, just ask Burnley. The signing of Britt Assombalonga has added much need goals to the side. He already has four goals this season. He is this game’s key man.
