UPSET OF THE WEEKEND: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Cardiff City
Wolves made it a hat-trick of 1-0 wins against relegated Premier League sides after sneaking another victory against promotion favourites Cardiff City. It looked for all the money that it’d end as a draw until Kevin McDonald’s long-range shot took a huge deflection of Mark Hudson, wrong-footing David Marshall and nestled in the back of the net.
Some might say that Wolves have been good whilst Fulham have been poor, but remember a division separated the two sides last year and that in my book is still an upset. Will Wolves’ fans care at all? Not on jot, three more points on the board and Kenny Jackett’s men look to be the dark horses for promotion this season.
