Poor Performances Frustrating Fans

Dougie Freedman’s men have started the season slowly again picking up just one point out of nine in the SkyBet Championship so far causing many Bolton Wanderers fans to have a split opinion on the man in charge.  The results from the Trotters may not have been the best but it is the poor performances that are frustrating the fans further.  The results are being blamed on the owner by some fans for failing to provide funds to the manager to spend on strengthening the Wanderers squad whilst other fans are beginning to question the tactics and selections made by their manager Dougie Freedman.

The summer transfer window has seen a number of players leave Bolton Wanderers with the key aim to remove the wages from the squads wage bill and to use the money for their replacements contracts.  Dougie Freedman has brought in the trio of Neil Danns, Liam Trotter and Liam Feeney on free transfers all of whom were on loan at the club during last season and has also brought in defenders Dorian Dervite and Dean Moxey on free transfers whilst securing the loan deals of Kevin McNaughton and Joe Mason for another spell at the Macron Stadium.

The summer transfer activity at the Macron Stadium has highlighted the obvious lack of funds available for the Bolton Wanderers manager making it more difficult for Freedman to strengthen with quality rather than quantity but with poor performances also a problem along with poor results, the question remains, how long until the pressure begins to pile on the owner and the manager for another poor start to a Championship season from the Wanderers?
