The Rochdale winger helped his side to a 5-2 win against Crewe with a hat-trick. The striker, who signed a 2-year contract earlier this year, scored a tap in three minutes before half-time. He scored his second, and his side’s third, in the 55th minute when he ran clear of Crewe’s defence. He saved his best goal until last when he fired in a strike after freeing himself from the home side’s defence. Many people questioned Rochdale’s starting XI but they secured their first win of the season and most of the credit belongs to Matt Done.
