If Jamie Ward ever needs a goal, he should find away of playing against Ipswich. The Derby forward ended his goal drought making it 6 in 4 against The Addicks. The brace was in vein this time however, with The Rams coming off second best in a 3-2 defeat. Ward’s first, a brilliant left foot curler from outside the box, was followed up with another outside the box that trickled through ‘keeper Nick Pope’s legs. It may not have been the start that Derby had hoped for, but there are goals in this team, and this will do Jamie Ward’s confidence no harm whatsoever.
