Bradford City have numerous first-team players who are out of contract this summer. Here are five who face uncertain futures at the club-

Richard O’Donnell- The Bantams’ stopper is edging towards the end of the two-year deal he signed in 2018 after joining from Northampton Town. The experienced ‘keeper has previously played for the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City, Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United.

Jake Reeves- His future at Valley Parade is up in the air at the moment after three years with the Yorkshire club. The central midfielder joined the club in League One from AFC Wimbledon but has struggled with injuries since his move. Will he get a fresh contract?

Shay McCartan- Bradford swooped to sign him in 2017 after he impressed at Accrington Stanley. He initially struggled to make an impact with the Bantams and was loaned out to Lincoln City last season but getting his place back in the team this term.

Kelvin Mellor- He has been a regular since moving from Blackpool in 2018. The former Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle is now 29 years old and will have to be patient over whether he will get a contract extension this summer.

Clayton Donaldson- The former Crewe, Brentford, Birmingham City and Sheffield United striker moved to Bradford last year on a free transfer. The veteran became their captain in January. The Bantams’ boss Stuart McCall has a decision to make over the coming months as he adds experience into his ranks.
