Top five Sky Bet Championship scoring combinations

Many would argue that the Sky Bet Championship is the most competitive second-tier competition in football. The thing is, you’d not find much of an argument against that point of view. Put another way, the draw of the Championship is such that it is Europe’s third-most watched competition.

The quality of players in this season competition is high, that’s the lure and draw of the competition itself. Usually, players in sides relegated from the Premier League would move onwards and upwards rather than play second-tier football. That has all changed, there’s a different perception about what it is that the Championship represents.

Remember, it wasn’t that long ago that Wolverhampton Wanderers managed to convince Portuguese starlet Rueban Neves to play a pivotal role across the Championship season that saw them promoted to English football’s top-tier.

Some of the goals scored are spectacular, some of the link-up play breathtaking. Here are the top five scoring combinations (scorer plus assists) in this season’s Sky Bet Championship.
