QPR’s first-team coach Neil Banfield has admitted their key players could be sold if big money comes in this summer, as per a report by West London Sport.

The Championship side may face a battle to hold onto the likes of Eberechi Eze, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ilias Chair this summer amid possible Premier League interest.

Eze, who is 21 years old, is someone in particular who has the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace being linked with him.

Banfield has said if an offer in the region of £20 million came in for the youngster then it would be hard for Mark Warburton’s side to reject.

Eze has impressed for the Hoops this season with some dazzling performances which have warranted him with 11 goals in all competitions and recognition from England Under-21’s.

Banfield has admitted that he could leave the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, as per West London Sport: “If the offers come in of £20m and £20m-plus, I don’t think there would be many clubs that could turn that down.”

“But the real world is that if a club comes in now with loads of money then those lads have got to go. It’s just a fact of life.”

QPR fans will be sweating over the futures of Eze, Osayi-Samuel and Chair over the coming months but like any young player that performs in the second tier, they are always going to be linked with the top flight. The Hoops will be hoping the hefty price tag may put some suitors off.
