Opinion: Five clubs who could target Huddersfield Town striker Karlan Grant this summer

Huddersfield Town striker Karlan Grant will be the subject of a lot of interest from other clubs this summer.

He has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season for the Terriers. Here are five sides who could move for him-

Wolves- Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been linked with the prolific forward this season and may see him as someone who would add more competition and depth to their striking options. Could they hand him a route back into the Premier League?

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Aston Villa- The 22-year-old would be ideal for the Midlands club for the next campaign, regardless of what league they will be in. Grant has proven he can score goals this term and Villa should fork out the big bucks this summer to bring him to Villa Park.

Fulham- Grant has been linked with a move to the fellow Championship side recently and Scott Parker could see him as someone to fill the boots for Aleksander Mitrovic if he leaves Craven Cottage in the near future.

West Bromwich Albion- The Baggies are closing in on a return to the Premier League and need reinforcements if they are to get over the line this season. Grant would be a sensible deal for them and would add more of a cutting edge for the Midlands side in the top flight.

Leeds United- Marcelo Bielsa’s men have been heavily dependent on Patrick Bamford up front in the this campaign and are likely to be in the market for another striker with January recruit Jean Kevin-Augistin spending his time at Elland Road so far on the side lines. Could they bid for Grant from their Yorkshire rivals?
