West Brom on-loan star Grady Diangana expresses delight at future being resolved

West Bromwich Albion on-loan star Grady Diangana has expressed his delight at his future being resolved after it was revealed that he would remain at the Hawthorns for the rest of the season on their official website.

There had been speculation that the winger could be recalled by parent club West Ham United following his blistering form but Baggies boss Slaven Bilic confirmed on Friday that he would be staying at the Championship side.

Diangana suffered an injury in the recent league defeat to Stoke City but has been a pivotal player for Albion this campaign with five goals and five assists already to his name.

Bilic also said that the 21-year-old will be fit for the ‘crucial stages’ of the season. Upon the recent news, Diangana said: ‘I’m delighted the uncertainty has been resolved and I can now focus on my football again.”

“It was so disappointing to suffer the injury problem last week but I’m hopeful that we have got to the bottom of it and I can complete a successful rehab and recovery.”

“I want to see the job through and play my part in what we are trying to achieve. It’s been an exciting season for me and I have loved being here. Now I just want to get fit and playing again.”

There is no doubt that Diangana has become a huge fan’s favourite with the Albion faithful and the news of his loan spell not being cut short is a massive boost to the Midlands side as they look to continue on their quest for promotion back to the Premier League.

Bilic is a big admirer of the youngster and expressed his delight at keeping the winger for the rest of the campaign. “We were doing everything we could to keep Grady, but finally we have done it. He is staying with us until the end of the season,” he recently said.
