West Bromwich Albion will reportedly need to stump up in the region of €15million to secure the signing of Mislav Orsic according to the Croatian website 24Sata.

There has been speculation of interest in Orsic from the Baggies who are looking at acquiring in a striker in the January transfer window and rumours of a possible €5million bid however it is believed that Zagreb are wanting triple that figure.

Manager Slaven Bilic is keen on signing his fellow Croatian and although West Brom look likely to be playing Premier League football next season, it is not yet sure if they can afford the fee whilst in the Championship.

Orsic has made 26 appearances for the Croatian club this season and has scored 19 goals and put in several impressive performances and it is thought Zagreb are keen to retain their striker.

His contract with Zagreb expires in June 2022 and they won’t be held to ransom over Orsic, with the length of time left on his deal putting them in the driving seat over any transfer negotiations.

Orsic is powerful when playing as a winger and also very potent as the main striker. He has won caps for Croatia at international level and it is no surprise that he is attracting interest from clubs in England.

The 27-year-old could be keen on a move to the UK but it would certainly take a sizeable offer for Zagreb to consider selling their star man, one which could be out of the reach of the Championship giants.
