Leeds United have today confirmed the signing of Southampton striker, Billy Sharp on a two-year deal.
After speculation over the past days and weeks, the Whites Tweeted:

Billy Sharp took to Twitter and said:

Leeds United Head Coach, Dave Hockaday, told
the club’s official website,
“Billy is a prolific goalscorer and is tried and tested at Championship level. He was desperate to come here and play for us. I’m delighted to welcome Billy to the club.”
In his prolonged career, Sharp has made 66 appearances for his hometown club, Sheffield United, scoring 13 goals during his time with the South Yorkshire side. However, the 28 year-old made the most appearances of his career at Doncaster Rovers. The striker made 102 appearances for Rovers and scored 45 goals, as well as assisting 19.
