Stoke City want £20m for ex-England international goalkeeper Jack Butland.
West Ham are determined to bring in a new goalie between the sticks in January and were reportedly considering a loan move for the Potters keeper who has been at the Staffordshire side for six years.
It has been reported by the Daily Mail that the Hammers, who are currently 15th in the league, were considering trying to secure a loan deal for Butland but these plans have been scuppered with the Potters valuing Butland at £20m.
Bournemouth’s Asmir Begovic has also been linked with a loan move to the London side along with Middlesbrough’s Darren Randolph who could return to the Hammers in January just three years after leaving the London Stadium.
The Irish shot stopper joined the club in 2015 before leaving for Boro two years later.
Should Manuel Pellegrini move for Randolph, it has been reported that Jonathan Woodgate will try and lure Rangers’ Wes Foderingham to the club with Championship rivals Birmingham City also interested in the 28-year-old.
