Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen has won the Championship Player of the Month for November.

The 22-year-old has made a blistering start to the season for the Tigers and has chipped in with 15 goals.

Bowen may be targeted by other clubs in January and has been linked with the likes of Newcastle United and West Brom so far.

He has spoken after winning his award, as per Hull’s official club website: “It’s a huge honour to win this award. It was a good month for me personally with getting the goals and providing a couple of assists. There’s no hidden secret behind it, it’s about continuing to work hard and doing the same things week in, week out.”

“The focus is always on the team, though, and it’s about us trying to find that consistency that we need now. We’ve got a lot of games coming up in the next three weeks and we’ll be looking to get ourselves into a position where we can push on in the second half of the season.”

The Tigers’ boss Grant McCann has said: “We’re all delighted for Jarrod and he’s been phenomenal over the last couple of months in terms of his performances and goals. We’ve said to him ‘well done, see if you can get it again next month’. He’s been a pleasure to work with ever since we arrived at the Club with the appetite he has to learn every day and get better.”
