Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month contenders revealed

The EFL have announced the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month contenders for November, with Leeds United forward Jack Harrison, Hull City hotshot Jarrod Bowen, Nottingham Forest ‘keeper Brice Samba and Brentford midfielder Josh Dasilva set to battle it out for the award.

Four players who enjoyed a thoroughly successful November were Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, Hull City goalscorer Jarrod Bowen, Nottingham Forest shot-stopper Brice Samba and Brentford’s young defensive midfielder Josh Dasilva.

And now, the quartet have been given some recognition for their strong performances over the course of last month, with the EFL nominating them for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.

Jack Harrison – Leeds United

As Leeds United stormed to five wins from five matches in November, winger Jack Harrison was ever-present in Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The 23-year-old is thoroughly enjoying his second loan spell at Elland Road and he showed that in November, scoring three goals and providing one assist as he continues to grow and develop out on loan from Manchester City.

Jarrod Bowen – Hull City

It was yet another impressive month for Jarrod Bowen, with his performances continuing to catch the eye of Premier League sides. Bowen starred for McCann’s side, netting four times and laying on two assists, taking his impressive goalscoring tally for the season up to 16 goals and three assists in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Brice Samba – Nottingham Forest

Since arriving at the City Ground in the summer transfer window, Brice Samba has been a massive hit with Nottingham Forest fans, and his performances in November will have done no harm to his relationship with the fans. He kept three clean sheets and conceded only two goals to help Sabri Lamouchi’s side take 10 points from a possible 15.

Josh Dasilva – Brentford

21-year-old midfielder Josh Dasilva has come on leaps and bounds so far this season, and his form in November showed just that. He starred in Thomas Frank’s midfield and added goals to his game, netting four in five matches and providing one assist, including a hat-trick in Brentford’s 7-0 demolition of Luton Town.
