Former Leeds United man reveals some secrets of his time under Bielsa

Leeds United are flying, currently top of the Championship table after twenty one games with the best goal difference and already twelve clean sheets to boast of. But some of the decisions at the start of the season were those that would create underlying concern for Whites fans.

Like the decision to sell Jack Clarke to Tottenham Hotspur for £10m and then loan him back for this season, a decision that looks even stranger now that the youngster has only really featured in the League Cup and is yet to have any impact on their season whatsoever.

Or the decision, totally out of the blue, to sell on of the best defenders in the Championship in Pontus Jansson to league rivals Brentford in a deal which saw them only bring in half of what they received for Jack Clarke, this was a real head-scratcher.

It was evident that the Swedish man wasn’t overly happy with the decision, but he has knuckled down and the Bee’s are now well and truly in the play-off mix as we head into the festive period.

Jansson, who was a real fans favourite at Elland Road, has been talking of his time under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds United in a recent interview with The Sun and reveals some of the players antics under the Argentinian.

He looks back at how he feels sad about the way it ended with Leeds, some of the antics with the players and THAT game with Aston Villa.

This will be a heart-felt watch for the Leeds United faithful I’m sure.
