Leeds United and Derby County join the race for Sunderland and Celtic target

Leeds United and Derby County have joined the race for Sunderland and Celtic target Bruno Davidson according to The Scottish Sun.

There were reports that Sunderland and the Scottish giants had made offers for the talented teenager but it appears that Leeds and Derby are now in the hunt for the winger.

Premier League duo Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also believed to be tracking the 15-year-old who plays for Edinburgh-based community youth side Hutchison Vale FC in the Scottish League.

The youngster has enjoyed some impressive performances for the Scottish side and this has now alerted a number of clubs at the potential of a possible deal in January.

It may prove to be difficult for Leeds or Derby to acquire Davidson considering there are top flight clubs interested however, due to their recent academy success this could give a possible advantage to the Championship giants.

Davidson is fast emerging as one of the brightest young talents in Scottish football and he looks certain for a move to a more ‘high profile’ club in the near future.

The winger is believed to have had a trial with Leicester City whilst there is speculation that he visited Southampton and Liverpool with a view to them casting an eye over the Scottish wonderkid.

It certainly appears that Davidson has his pick of clubs should he wish to pursue a move and over the next few year he could firmly establish himself in the English game.
