Brentford star linked with Premier League club

Brentford winger Said Benrahma is being scouted by Chelsea who are reportedly keen to bring in an influx of players following the lifting of their transfer ban.

The Algerian midfielder has already been linked with Aston Villa but the Daily Mail says that Chelsea have sent scouts to watch the Bees man in action.

Benrahma, who joined Brentford last year, has scored 13 goals in 54 appearances for the Bees and had to break back into the starting XI following an injury which caused him to miss ore-season.

He was nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award in October for his performances and Brentford see him as a £20m player.

Benrahma arrived at Brentford from French side Nice in 2018 after being snapped up by former Bees boss Dean Smith who now wants the star to join him at Villa.
