Leeds United looking to sign on-loan winger on permanent basis

Leeds United are looking to sign on-loan Manchester City star Jack Harrison on a permanent deal with manager Marco Bielsa being a ‘real admirer’ of the winger according to Football Insider.

Harrison has been a regular starter for the Whites during his loan spell from the Premier League giants and should they win promotion they will look to sign him on a long-term basis.

The wide man has impressed with his performances and Bielsa believes he could make a real impact in the top flight and are keen to retain him should they manage to achieve promotion.

Manchester City have an abundance of riches and with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez, it appears increasingly unlikely that Harrison will be able to force his way into the first-team reckoning.

Bielsa has great faith in Harrison who scored four goals and provided four assists last season whilst on loan at the Championship giants.

However, he has stepped up once again this campaign and has already notched three goals and four assists before the midway point of the season.

The 23-year-old has made a real impact for Leeds and been a key member of the team which has seen them rise to second in the Championship table and just two points behind league leaders West Bromwich Albion.

Due to his performances, his value will have increased considerably over the last few months and Leeds will want to sign him before any other clubs swoop in for the talented youngster.
