Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed that he will be meeting up with the agent of star man Bradley Dack to discuss his contract and future at Ewood Park.

Since arriving at Blackburn Rovers, midfielder Bradley Dack has become a fixture in the starting 11, starring in Tony Mowbray’s team since signing from Gillingham in the summer of 2017. And, having had another strong start to the Championship season (10 goals and three assists in 21 appearances), it is expected that Premier League interest will return.

Dack was the subject of significant interest from Premier League clubs in the summer but he remained with Blackburn, despite holding the ambition to play in the top flight.

Now, heading into the January transfer window with his stock as high as ever, Tony Mowbray has confirmed they will be holding talks with his agent regarding his future and current contract at the club. Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, he said:

“I have a meeting with Bradley’s agent next week and we’ll see how they work out. But my relationship is with Bradley, not his agent, but you have to work with agents. Ultimately, my relationship is with Bradley and we have an understanding together of where we want his career to go, how we see his career developing.

“We have a level of trust that he feels as a club we will do the right thing for Bradley and the right time is there. At the moment he just has to give everything he has got for the team and for the club.

“Ultimately he will want and go and play in the Premier League and as we move forward whether that is going to the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers, or if that’s not the case, he will look and seek to go there in a different way.”
