Trabzonspor and Bordeaux are interested in Hull City midfielder Markus Henriksen.
The Tigers’ forgotten man is set to leave the KCOM Stadium in the upcoming January transfer window, as per a report by Hull Live.
The 27-year-old turned down a contract offer in September meaning he will become a free agent at the end of the season. However, the Championship are keen on selling him for a fee this winter and are believed to be willing to listen to offers around £1 million.
Henriksen, who is a Norway international with 54 caps under his belt, is yet to feature in this campaign under Grant McCann having signalled his desire to leave the club over the summer.
A move never materialised and the midfielder has had to bide his time, getting his game time solely on international duty.
He has spoken to the Norweigen media about potential January interest in his services: “I haven’t heard anything. We have to wait and see what happens. There has been a great deal of interest right now, so we’ll see what’s best for me and my family. I hope and believe that it can be something very good.”
“I am 27 years old and have started to become the football player I wanted to be. I want to play in a good league for a few more years.”
Hull paid £4.5 million to sign Henriksen from AZ Alkmaar in 2017 and he was their captain last season.
