Leeds United reaping rewards of “private talk” with forward

According to a report from Football Insider, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa and his coaching staff are over the moon with the recent form of forward Tyler Roberts, after they held a “private talk” with the Welshman regarding his performances.

In the early stages of the season, Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts was struggling to make his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s side, whether it be because he was injured or overlooked by the Argentine.

But now, Roberts has made his way into Bielsa’s side and he has been proving that he deserves the place in the Whites side. He has started in the club’s last two games for wins over Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers, netting in the win over Blackburn.

It has now been reported that Roberts’ upturn in form comes after Marcelo Bielsa held a conversation with him over his form. It is said that Roberts asked Bielsa what he needed to do to improve his game, to which the Argentine replied that he needs to add more end product to his game.

He has since impressed in the number 10 role in his last two starts, playing all 90 minutes in the Whites’ two wins in as many games. Roberts, Leeds fans and the club’s staff will be hoping that the youngster can continue his strong form as they look to push for a place in the Premier League once again. Their promotion push currently stands in good stead, with Bielsa’s side sitting in 3rd place as it stands.
