A report from The Sun has claimed that West Brom’s 16-year-old wonderkid Rico Richards is the latest Baggies youngster to be attracting interest from a number of top sides, with Premier League quartet Manchester City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal all said keen.

Over the course of the past year or so, a number of West Brom’s young stars have been linked with moves to big clubs. Over the course of the summer transfer window, Rekeem Harper was said to be on the radar of a number of top European sides, with defender Nathan Ferguson attracting interest after his strong start to the season as well.

Academy graduate Louie Barry was also snapped up by Catalan giants Barcelona and now, the Baggies could have a fight on their hands if they want to hold on to another top talent. It has been reported by The Sun that 16-year-old Rico Richards is being tracked by Premier League quartet Manchester City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal.

The youngster can play either out on the wing or in the number 10 role in behind the striker and has been catching the eye while playing for the Baggies’ youth sides with his goalscoring and creative ability.

Richards has featured for the club’s Under-19s side despite only just turning 16 and it is also said that he has been training with the Under-23s from time to time.

It will be interesting to see if the speculation surrounding Richards develops into anything serious or if he stays at the Hawthorns and becomes the latest West Brom youngster to feature in the first-team picture.
