Hull City boss comments after 3-0 win over Fulham

Hull City have won three games on the spin after beating Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage yesterday.

Goals from Josh Bowler, Jarrod Bowen and Tom Eaves meant the Tigers left the capital with all three points.

Grant McCann’s side are in good form at the moment and have their sights set on the Play-Offs now.

The Hull boss spoke to their official club website after the match: “We played really well today. We’ve come to one of the best teams in the league and were tactically very good. We broke on them well. We’ve got good players at the top end of the pitch and when they’re on form they can hurt anybody in this division.”

We knew that if we were deadly at crucial times in the game we would have a chance of getting a result. To a man, I thought our players were brilliant out there. Scoring early gave us a foothold and we were good on the transitions. We caused them problems every time we won possession back.”

He added: “I was really pleased for Josh Bowler getting his first senior goal. It’s been tough for him in terms of trying to break past Jarrod (Bowen) and Kamil (Grosicki) and he’s waited patiently for the opportunity he’s had in the last couple of games. He’s taken that opportunity.”

“Jarrod’s got ten goals now this season and is a threat every time he gets the ball. He’s been working on finishing with his right foot.”
