Leeds United favourite admits he may move back to former club soon

With Leeds United’s form currently fluctuating, the last thing the club and fans want to hear is that one of their most influential and creative players is hoping to leave the club ‘very soon’, so with that admission today, it could be time for The Whites to seek a replacement.

With the West Yorkshire club sitting pretty in third place in the Championship table after fourteen games, despite not hitting true form as yet and being hindered with both injuries and a nervousness in front of goal, the club would be looking to strengthen the playing squad rather than watch one of, if not THE most important player on their books at the moment.

So with the news emerging today that the 34-year-old Spanish wizard is looking to return to the club where he started his career, CD Castellon, Leeds United fans would be forgiven for being slightly worried.

Speaking with Spanish outlet El Periodico Mediterranio, Hernandez has made it clear where he would like to end his playing career and that is not in Leeds.

With his p[laying days running out, Hernandez had this to say regarding his next move…

“Castellón CD is a unique club and I hope to wear the black and white (shirt) again very soon and return to Castalia”

Hernandez is out of contract next year, so should the Leeds United supporters start preparing themselves for the Spaniard to depart Elland Road?

One thing is for sure, when Pablo Hernandez does leave Leeds United, he will leave a vast chasm in the creativity stakes at the club, one that will need filling at the clubs earliest convenience.
