EA Sports FIFA announced their Team of the Week for their Ultimate Team game mode via Twitter today, with two EFL hat-trick heroes achieving a place in the squad.
Each week EA Sports FIFA release special upgraded cards based on real life performances, with Fulham’s Aleksander Mitrovic and Swindon Town’s Eoin Doyle both included in the Team of the Week.
Mitrovic was given a special card based on his man of the match display against Luton Town last week. Fulham trimphed 3-2 over the Hatters, with the Serbian scoring a hat-trick in the process, meaning they moved to within touching distance of the top six.
The forward was boosted from his base rating of 78 to an 82 rating, with significant upgrades to his Shooting, Dribbling and Physical stats amongst others.
Swindon’s Eoin Doyle became the third League Two player included in a Team of the Week on FIFA 20, joining Mansfield Town’s Nicky Maynard and Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Rory Watson.
Doyle has been upgraded from a 63 to a 73, with a +12 boost on Shooting his biggest upgraded stat.
He was awarded a place in the Team of the Week off the back of his stellar hat-trick away at Crawley Town last weekend. Swindon won the game 4-0 meaning they climbed up the table into fifth place, and Doyle is comfortably out in front in the top goalscorers chart in League Two with 13 goals in 16 games.
Doyle and Mitrovic earned their place alongside the likes of Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, Fabinho of Liverpool and Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
