Brentford have secured a third West London derby victory over Queens Park Rangers in four meetings with The Bees running out 3-1 winners at Loftus Road this evening.
Thomas Frank’s side were the better side throughout as the home side struggled to display their promotion credentials.
Ollie Watkins headed Brentford into a first half lead before Grant Hall levelled the scores with a header of his own early in the second half. Said Benrahma then slotted away a controversial penalty kick as The Bees regained their advantage before Watkins tapped home their third deep in second half injury time.
Brentford have now won on three of their last five visits to Loftus Road and after the match, fans took to Twitter to express their delight.

Brentford so impressive tonight. No question that they have the quality to challenge right at the top.
Easier games coming and expectation growing. This is where they have failed in the past, think it might be different this time around. #BrentfordFC
