Liverpool are facing a battle to sign Birmingham City teenager Jude Bellingham as Bayern Munich join the race according to 90Min.
The talented midfielder is enjoying a breakthrough season with Blues and is attracting interest from Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.
However, the top flight big boys may face a challenge to acquire his services with German side Bayern Munich now also said to be interested.
The 16-year-old has forced his way into Pep Clotet’s side this season and he’s already scored twice in his first four appearances, including a match-winning strike against Charlton Athletic.
Even Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are said to be monitoring the in demand youngster who has impressed so far with his hometown club.
Bellingham, who is already part of England’s Under-17 side is becoming an important player in the Birmingham squad but it will be difficult to turn down a huge offer should one be made by one of the huge clubs interested in him.
Although the midfielder has been used sparingly by Pep Clotet in recent weeks, he may be in line to make his return to the club’s starting eleven in tomorrow’s clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
Should Bellingham continue to deliver the goods for Birmingham, he could be moving onto pastures new with a bright future ahead of him.
At just 16-years-old it could be a wise decision for the youngster to stay with Blues and continue developing his game with a better chance of regular first team football as opposed to moving to a bigger club where he could find himself in the youth set up or on the periphery of the squad.
