Last season saw complete opposites in terms of fortunes for Leeds United in their match-up’s with West Bromwich Albion, losing 1-4 at The Hawthorns but taking the bragging rights with a 4-0 in the reverse fixture, so goals should be plentiful this evening… you would hope.
So far this season, both clubs have enjoyed a good start to their campaign, with the Midlands outfit unbeaten after eight games and Leeds seeing two disappointing 1-0 losses, both in games that they dominated, so this evening should provide brilliant entertainment for viewers.
Last season also saw similarities in how both clubs ended their season, both reaching the play-offs and both losing out at the semi-final stage to compound themselves to yet another season in The Championship.
Here I take a look at how Leeds United could line up for the game, with influential talisman Pablo Hernandez out through injury and midfielder Adam Forshaw also due to miss out, it could be an unfamiliar side playing in White.
LEEDS UNITED XI
It certainly promises to be a high scoring, free-flowing match up between two of the favourites to succeed in the Championship this season… will it live up to the billing?
With Leeds current woes in front of goal and West Brom’s current form, this could be a difficult evening for the Whites, but should they find their shooting boots, it will be fun to watch. Leeds 2-2 West Brom.
