Jed Wallace

The 20 year old Portsmouth midfielder has long been linked with a move to a higher division and yet in June he signed a new three year deal with the reviving side which would be some welcome news to Pompey fans given their recent years of hardship.

The former Farnborough youngster has certainly become a hit at Fratton Park over the last couple of years making 66 league appearances, 59 of which are starts, scoring 13 goals and assisting 4. a competent midfielder; Wallace has shown that he is technically gifted and has a keen eye for goal, he scored 13 goals in 14 goals for Whitehawk during a short loan spell in the 12/13 season.

Given his constant development in Portsmouth’s starting  XI this season could be the one in which Wallace shows just how far he has come in the last couple of seasons and how far he could go.
