Ryan Tafazolli confident Hull City will turn around poor form

Hull City defender Ryan Tafazolli has said that he is confident that the side will turn around their poor form, having failed to win any of their last six matches.

Hull City currently occupy 20th place in the Championship table, winning just one match from their opening seven. Their first win came over a month ago now and after they were held to a 2-2 draw against Wigan Athletic, they sit just one point away from the bottom three.

However, centre-back Ryan Tafazolli is confident that they will turn around their form and start to pick up points, saying that they know what they need to do to improve. Tafazolli said to the club’s official website:

“If you look at the stats – and I know stats don’t mean everything because football is a results-based industry – we have created an awful lot of chances.

“We know what we need to do to improve. Going forward, our play is very promising but we know that we have to start taking our chances and keeping clean sheets at the other end.

“We know that we need to kill teams off when we’re on top because teams in this league are ruthless and, if you don’t, you’re always giving the opposition a chance to get back into the game.

“We’re close to getting it right though and we’re confident the positive results will come soon. We all work hard because we know that’s needed in order to achieve something special this season.

“Saturday’s game is gone now and our focus is now firmly on the trip to Luton. We’ll get our heads down in training, work hard and focus on what we need to do in order to get ourselves ready for what will be another tough test in the Championship.”
