Former Oldham Athletic, Portsmouth and Preston North End striker Eoin Doyle is currently the Sky Bet League Two top goalscorer with Swindon Town.

The striker has been in fine form since arriving at Swindon Town on loan from fellow Sky Bet League Two side Bradford City, scoring seven times in eight games so far this season.

Last weekend, Doyle found the back of the net twice against Macclesfield Town as Swindon won 3-0 at the County Ground.

When the striker signed for Swindon he spoke to BBC Sport about his relationship with Manager Richie Wellens: “I’ve played under the manager before.

Chesterfield secured the signing of Doyle in 2013 and he helped them to the League Two title in his debut season and finished the club’s top goalscorer.

The following season, Doyle’s impressive start with Chesterfield, scoring 25 goals, earned him a move to Championship side Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.

Following five goals in 16 games, Doyle joined Preston North End on loan before making his transfer permanent at the start of the 2016/17 season. Doyle has made 39 appearances for Preston North End but only scored 5 goals for The Lilywhites. He was loaned out to League Two side Portsmouth until the end of the season.
