We continue to look for the highest rated players in League One on FIFA 20 by focusing on the top five defenders now-

5- Reece James, Doncaster Rovers, 68- The former Manchester United, Wigan Athletic and Sunderland left-back sneaks in at number five for Donny with stats like 77 for pace and 67 for dribbling.

4. Jason Shackell, Lincoln City, 69- The ex-Premier League defender isn’t blessed with pace on this year’s FIFA (rating of 42) but does have 73 for physical and 69 for defending. The 35-year-old played a key part in the Imps’ promotion from League Two last season.

3. Aristote Nsiala, Ipswich Town, 69- He is back playing his football in the third tier following Ipswich’s relegation from the Championship last season. The 6ft 4inc centre-back has previously played for Grimsby Town and Shrewsbury Town and has been given 86 for physical and 78 for pace.

2. Conor McLaughlin, Sunderland, 69- The Northern Ireland international joined the Black Cats on a free transfer following his release by Millwall at the end of last season. FIFA have made him the highest rated full-back in the division and have handed him 70 for both pace and dribbling.

1. Mark Beevers, Peterborough United, 69- The ex-Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and Bolton Wanderers man comes in at number one. The experienced defender has some overall good stats such as 67 for defending and 79 for physical, which just pips him to the top.
