The 21 year-old midfielder signed for the Bees, from London rivals Leyton Orient,  for a fee reported to be worth £1 million, a new club record. Odubajo scored 10 goals in 46 appearances including a screamer against Rotherham United in the play-off final. Unfortunately for Odubajo, Orient lost on penalties, however his performances last season earned him a move across London.

He was mainly utilised on the right of the front three, a position vacated by Clayton Donaldson who left the Bees for Birmingham earlier this summer, and that is the position I expect him to play throughout the course of the season, although he may be used on the left. Although Mark Warburton wants Brentford to play attacking football, being one of the lesser teams in the division, they will probably spend a lot of time defending, however Moses’s pace will be key for them during counter-attacks. These counter-attacks could be vital to Brentford’s survival in the Championship, so Odubajo will play a key role.
