QPR young star on the radar of Southampton and Spurs

According to a report from The Sun, Queens Park Rangers young star Eberechi Eze is attracting the attention of Premier League clubs, with Southampton and Spurs among those said keen on the playmaker.

Upon his emergence into the first-team at Queens Park Rangers, young playmaker Eberechi Eze attracted the attention of a number of clubs with his performances that showed the confidence and ability of a player beyond his years.

Now, it has been claimed that the 21-year-old is attracting attention from clubs once again, with Premier League pair Southampton and Spurs said to be keeping a close eye on Eze’s developments. The summer transfer window has only just closed by the two top-flight clubs are keeping a watchful eye over Eze as their recruitment processes for the January transfer window begin.

So far this season, Eze has played in all five of Queens Park Rangers’ Championship games, scoring twice along the way. He opened his account for the season on the opening day with a solo strike in a 2-1 win over Stoke City. In total, Eze has played 68 times for the R’s, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in the process (Transfermarkt).

Given Eze’s involvement in the early stages of the season, Queens Park Rangers are in no position where they feel pressured into moving him on any time soon, But, with Premier League sides interested, they could receive a big fee if either Southampton or Spurs follow up on their reported interest.
