Twitter page Scouts in Attendance has claimed that Liverpool’s sought after young midfielder Herbie Kane was at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday as Darren Moore’s side defeated Fleetwood Town 3-2.
Over the course of the summer transfer window, Liverpool’s young midfield starlet Herbie Kane has been heavily linked with a number of clubs. Championship pair Charlton Athletic and Millwall were linked earlier this summer, while League One pair Portsmouth and Coventry City are the latest to be credited with interest.
Now, it has been claimed by Twitter page Scouts in Attendance that Kane was at the Keepmoat Stadium to watch Doncaster Rovers beat Fleetwood Town on Saturday afternoon, sparking transfer speculation.

While no reports have emerged since claiming that Kane is set to make a return to Doncaster Rovers, his appearance at the ground could hint at a return. That being said, he could have just been attending to keep an eye on how his former team are doing under new manager Darren Moore while he waits to see if he will be sent out on loan once again this season.
Last season was Kane’s first season of senior football, but his performances made him a fixture in Grant McCann’s side. He played in 49 games for the club, scoring seven goals and providing 10 assists in the process.
Prior to his loan spell with Doncaster, Kane had spent his time playing for the youth sides at Liverpool, playing for the Under-23s and Under-18s as well as representing the club in the UEFA Youth Cup.
