Reading attacker in Turkey ahead of initial loan switch

According to a report from the Reading Chronicle, Reading attacker Mo Barrow is set to make a move to Turkey, with Super Lig pair Denlizspor and Sivasspor the two sides vying for the Namibian international.

We covered reports here on The72 claiming that Derby County had looked at signing Mo Barrow from fellow Championship side Reading before the transfer window slammed shut last Thursday. It was also said that Barrow could yet make a move away from the club, having been allowed to make a move away by manager Jose Gomes.

Now, it has been reported by the Reading Chronicle that Barrow is set to get his move away, with a move to Turkey on the cards. It remains to be seen who the winger will be linking up with, as Super Lig duo Denlizspor and Sivasspor battle it out for Barrow.

Barrow is said to be in Istanbul at the moment along with his representatives as they look to come to a conclusion over a proposed move. A deal would see the 26-year-old join either of the two aforementioned clubs on an initial loan deal, with a clause to make the move permanent upon the end of the loan spell included in the deal.

Barrow, 26, has been with Reading for two years now, having left Swansea City to link up with the Royals back in the summer of 2017. In his time with the club, the former Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers loanee has scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists in 82 appearances.
