Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa after Derby County full-back

Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are all said to be keen on Derby County right-back Jayden Bogle.

The youngster is a man in-demand after impressing for the Rams last season, according to a report by TEAMtalk.

Bogle, who is 19 years-old, is a player who Derby are desperate to hold onto before the transfer window shuts on Thursday but they will have to bat away plenty of interest in him.

The full-back started his career with spells as a youngster in the academies at Reading and Swindon Town before moving to Derby in 2016.

Bogle, who is an England Under-20 international, was a key player for the Rams’ youth sides before he was handed his first team debut in August 2018 in a Championship fixture against his former club Reading.

He flourished under Frank Lampard last season and made 50 appearances in all competitions. He played a key part in the second tier outfit getting to the Play-Off final last term.

Bogle is no doubt a player for the future and Derby not getting promoted last season has put them in a vulnerable position to lose him this summer.

Newcastle, Villa and Palace are all looking to get busy during this last week of the transfer window and could all make approaches for the youngster to boost their defences. Phillip Cocu’s side will have to stand firm to keep him at Pride Park past Thursday.
