Hull City are looking to bring in some more signings before the season starts.

Grant McCann’s side have so far brought in goalkeeper Matt Ingram from QPR and striker Tom Eaves from Gillingham.

Free agent defender Ryan Tafazolli spent last week on trial with Hull and played in both of their pre-season friendlies in Marbella against Leyton Orient and Lincoln Red Imps, scoring in the latter game.

He has previously had spells at Southampton, Mansfield Town and Peterborough United and is signing that the Yorkshire side could make this week to add more depth and options in defence.

Everton winger Josh Bowler has been linked with the Tigers throughout this transfer window with some reports suggesting a deal was close. However, the situation has gone quiet meaning fans will have to wait and see what develops with this one.

Liverpool midfielder Herbie Kane is another player Hull are after, as reported by The72. He spent last season on loan in League One with Doncaster Rovers under McCann and helped them get into the Platy-Offs.

There is believed to be other interest from the Championship in Kane so the Tigers will have to rivals others for his signature.

Hull have also lodged an enquiry for Liverpool winger Ben Woodburn, who could leave the Champions League winners on loan this summer for more first team experience. He spent the first half of the last campaign at Sheffield United but struggled for game time with the Blades.
