Leeds United find themselves as overwhelming favourites for the number one spot in The Championship next season, but after two wins from two at the start of their pre-season campaign, the majority of the squad have today travelled to Australia for their next two friendlies… here we have some pictures posted by the players courtesy of Leeds United Snaps.
Following routine victories of nearby clubs in York City (5-0) and Guiseley (2-1), Leeds United have taken off on their travels to the opposite side of the world where they are due to take on Western Sydney and a tantalising tie with fellow English outfit and long time rivals Manchester United. It is believed that over five thousand Whites fans have taken to OZ also to support their team.
The aforementioned Twitter handle has collated pictures shared from various social media outlets by the players themselves while on there travels, here are a few tasters…

The players who have travelled seem in high spirits, here is the squad list…

A mixture of youth and experience for the Whites on what, I’m sure, will be a memorable trip, but there are plenty of high calibre players that have missed out, the likes of Mateusz Klich and Helder Costa will remain in Yorkshire to work on fitness, as confirmed, along with others here by local and trusted reporter Adam Pope…
The rest of the squad like the new boys Costa & White remains behind with Clarke, Peacock-Farrell, Shackleton, Klich, Alioski, Roberts & Ayling for fitness work. Ayling believed to have a knock. #lufc

This is a trip that was not popular with Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, with the Argentine guru believing it to be more of a distraction for the group rather than a benefit, but the hierarchy at Elland Road believe the trip is an essential marketing exercise.
Regardless of results over in Down-Under, Leeds will be looking to bring the squad back together in order to finish pre-season as a close-nit, tight bunch ready for their onslaught for a return to the Premier League.
