Portsmouth have reportedly rejected two more bids for their in demand forward Jamal Lowe according to Portsmouth News.

Lowe is wanted by a whole host of clubs this transfer window with Wigan, Millwall and West Bromwich Albion amongst the sides vying to capture his signature.

The winger is believed to have informed Portsmouth that he would prefer to move away from Fratton Park however, their valuation has yet to be met.

Pompey are reportedly looking for around £3million for the 24-year-old however the bids they have received have been for £1.5million falling way short of their target.

Lowe is one of Portsmouth’s prized assets and they are determined not to lose one of their best players on the cheap.

Kenny Jackett’s side missed out on promotion last season as they lost out to Sunderland in the play-off semi-finals and are desperate to secure promotion back to the Championship and believe that Lowe would be pivotal in their quest to do so.

The winger is keen to test himself at a higher level and has made his feelings known to the Blues’ hierarchy.

Portsmouth do have time on their side however as the Englishman is under contract until the summer of 2020, with the club having an additional 12-month option.

Lowe has already impressed in Pompey’s pre-season game as he scored in their victory over University College Dublin.

It remains to be seen if Lowe will still be a Portsmouth player for next season but they will undoubtedly face a battle to retain him with Championship clubs making their interest known.
