Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew looks set to join Crystal Palace following his loan spell last season as confirmed by Sky Sports News.
Ayew spent the 2018/19 campaign in the Premier League with the Eagles and made 25 appearances and scoring two goals.
The fee is believed to be in the region of around £2.5million plus add-ons. Ayew has recently been away with his national team Ghana taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations but is now due to return following their elimination at the hands of Tunisia.
The Ghanaian will now travel to Selhurst Park to complete a medical and then proceed to tie up the deal.
Despite his lack of goals for Roy Hodgson’s side, Palace were impressed with his intensity and see Ayew as a good option especially considering Michy Batshuayi’s return to parent club Chelsea following his loan spell.
There is also speculation that Wilfried Zaha could be on his way to Arsenal and this would then leave them light in attacking areas.
Ayew originally signed for Swansea from Aston Villa in January 2017 and scored 12 goals in 58 appearances before signing a season-long loan deal with Palace on transfer deadline day last summer.
His brother Andre is also a Swansea City player though he too spent last season on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Jordan Ayew may prove to be a shrewd acquisition for Roy Hodgson and his team as they look to have another successful season in the Premier League. Ayew offers pace and a genuine goal threat going forward which could be vital to their chances of staving off relegation.
