The Banbury-born midfielder has been on the book of Forest for six years having previously played for Reading and for the Nike Football Academy.

Grant has made 20 appearances for the Reds since moving there but has spent most of his time out on loan.

He got his first taste first-team experience on loan at Notts County from 2016 to 2018 where he played 73 times altogether, scoring 25 goals in his two seasons there.

Grant joined Luton Town last summer and played 17 times in League One for them in the first-half of the last campaign before finishing the season in League Two with Mansfield Town.

He is delighted to have moved to Sincil Bank and has told Lincoln’s website today: “Obviously I’m delighted to be here, I had spoken to the managers two or three times and they attracted me to the football club. I’ve looked from a distance over the last two or three years how things have gone and (the club) have taken a couple of steps up from where they were, and I’m really excited to be here.”

I’m looking forward to showing the fans what I can do on the pitch.”
